Overview

HRchitect is looking for experienced project managers to join our consulting team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams of consultants in the day-to-day tasks and activities such as requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, and go- live, to support the implementation of a variety of HCM software platforms.This is a Project Management position that requires strong project management and client management skills. However, knowledge of HCM systems such as HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and WFM systems is important. You should be a quick learner and clear communicator who can support the needs of our clients, consultants, and partners. This position is full time (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day project management to ensure successful system implementation by establishing clear goals, identifying potential issues/risks, and developing contingency plans.
  • Tracking progress and providing overarching communication and coordination.
  • Work with multiple clients, projects, and consultants at a time.
  • Work with the client to understand requirements and business needs.
  • Develop and execute plans under delivery time, budget, and implementation constraints.
  • Manage solution design along with applicable gap analysis and customization requirements.
  • Assisting client with change management.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data and take action accordingly.
  • Manage and resolve client issues.
  • Managing project plan.
  • Responsible for managing the hours allocated on the project. If changes in scope occur for a push in go live or scope falls outside of the SOW, the PM is responsible for communicating the change to the client and working with the Delivery team on a change order.
  • Lead Executive Steer Co calls, setting the agenda, ensuring key topics are covered, driving decisions, and addressing any concerns from stakeholders to keep the project on track.
  • Creating support plans and overseeing the transition to support.
  • Collaboration with internal team to assist fellow consultants on other projects.
  • Contributions to HRchitect’s thought leadership initiatives.
  • Contribute to the HRchitect Tech Trends blog.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Payroll, HCM, WFM, or HRMS systems as a Project Manager.
  • Experience managing full system implementation life cycle including Requirements Gathering, Scope Management, Process Design, System Configuration, Integration, User Acceptance Testing, Training, and Go-Live.
  • PMP or other Project Management Certifications are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience working independently without daily supervision.
  • Ability to multitask between different projects and clients.
  • Ability to have critical conversations with clients and leaderships and ability to record (note) detailed discussions with clients for tracking purposes.
  • Experience with HCM systems (UKG, Ceridian, SAP, Oracle, ADP, Workday) preferred.
  • Familiar with HCM solution modules and concepts such as Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Open Enrollment, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Succession Planning.
  • Proven record of delivering projects on time within budget.
  • Ability to work remotely from home office in North America.
