Overview

HRchitect is looking for talented, passionate professionals with UKG experience to join our growing team. As an HRchitect Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients with the implementation of UKG software. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills along with a solid understanding of the solution. This position is full time (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and document business and technical requirements for integrations between client systems and UKG Pro (HR, Payroll, and Benefits).
  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end system interfaces, ensuring alignment with UKG Pro architecture and best practices.
  • Create detailed integration specification and configuration documents tailored to each client’s unique environment.
  • Configure UKG tools and development environments to meet integration requirements.
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring all integration scenarios are validated and function as intended.
  • Coordinate go-live deployment activities, including scheduling, communications, and risk mitigation.
  • Deliver client-facing training on integration functionality and processes, ensuring proper knowledge transfer and adoption.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of UKG Pro products, tools, and updates to ensure effective integration solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support to troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment integration issues.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by fostering strong working relationships and delivering responsive, high-quality service.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in configuration and documentation.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with UKG Pro integrations, particularly in HR, Payroll, and Benefits modules; UKG integration certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of integration processes, tools, and methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable solutions.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Professional Services or consulting environment, ideally focused on HCM or HRIS projects.
  • Prior functional and technical experience with UKG Pro, especially in Benefits and Payroll configurations and workflows.
  • Technical proficiency in database querying, web services, file transfers, and cloud technologies (e.g., SQL, XML, SFTP).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Comfortable participating in and presenting on video calls with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment while effectively managing responsibilities.
  • Strong collaborative mindset, with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to contribute to thought leadership, including participation in the HRchitect Tech Trends Blog.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work remotely from a dedicated home office located within North America.
  • Professional certifications such as FPC, CPP, HRIP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or PMP are considered a plus.
